1 Can (14 ounces) stewed tomatoes
2 Cans (8 ounces each) of tomato sauce
1 Can (6 ounces) of tomato paste
½ cup of red wine
1 tablespoon of dried minced onions
2 teaspoon of green pepper flakes
½ teaspoon of dried minced garlic
6 ounces of Spaghetti, cooked
Cut sausages into ½ inch thick slices. In a large non-stick skillet, over a medium heat, sauté sausages for approximately 9 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Drain.
In the same skillet, over a medium-high heat, combine turkey sausages, tomatoes, tomato sauce, paste, wine, minced onions and pepper flakes. When mixture begins to bubble, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
To serve, spoon sauce over pasta. Add crispy shallots or spring onions for extra flavor and crunch. Serve alongside a glass of red wine.
