Spicy Turkey Tacos

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 tablespoon of dried onion
1 teaspoon of chili powder
½ teaspoon of paprika
½ teaspoon of cumin
½ teaspoon of dried oregano
¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
10 taco shells
1-2 tomatoes, chopped
2-3 cups of lettuce, shredded
2-3 cups of reduced fat cheddar cheese, grated


In a microwavable dish, combine the ground turkey, onion, chili powder, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, garlic powder and pepper then cover.

Microwave at a high temperature for approx. 5-6 minutes or until the internal temperature of the turkey reaches a minimum of 165º F. Stir 1-2 times during cooking.

Spoon turkey mixture into taco shells. Top each with tomatoes, lettuce and cheese or other desired toppings. Try saracha hot sauce for a zingy bite and enjoy.
